第四屆土耳其安卡拉國際爵士音樂節於十一月十四日揭開序幕, 開幕音樂會於中東科技大學舉行, 免費開放民眾入場欣賞; 土耳其知名爵士音樂家Sibel Köse, Elvan Aracı與空軍軍官大樂團(Air Force Commandership's Big Band)共同演出, 這個大樂團連續四年來都擔任開幕音樂會演出, 爵士音樂節一直持續到二十六日結束.

安卡拉國際爵士音樂節同時也邀請了來自美國,西班牙及匈牙利等地的音樂家參與,包括Screamin' Mimis(美國, 西班牙), Atilla Laszlo Group(匈牙利), Janusz Muniak Trio(波蘭) .知名的丹麥爵士鋼琴家Michiel Borstlap, 還有來自澳洲,橫跨古典與爵士的鋼琴家 Roland Batik都參與了這次音樂節的演出.

閉幕音樂會由安卡拉廣播電視台爵士大樂團(TRT Jazz Orchestra)演出, 由Neşet Ruacan指揮.這個樂團是第一次參與爵士音樂節, 26日晚上八點於中東科技大學舉行.

Today is the last day of the 4th Ankara International Jazz Festival. The closing concert features the TRT Jazz Orchestra under the baton of Neşet Ruacan. Big bands are favorites at the festival, and this is no exception. Participating in the festival for the first time, the orchestra will be accompanied by vocalist Nükhet Ruacan. The concert will begin at 8:00 p.m. at the METU Congress and Concert Center. 

  The last performance of the festival takes place at 10:00 p.m. at the Sheraton Copper Club and features Gianluigi Trovesi and Gianni Coscia.
